Mozilla

 

Mozilla Internet Suite (gradually being replaced by SeaMonkey) consists of three applications - Navigator, Composer and Mail. Navigator is the browser. The Mozilla organisation also produces a popular standalone browser called Mozilla Firefox.

 

The tutorial below applies to Mozilla and Netscape 7. Firefox, while generally similar, does have significant differences.

Internet Explorer

 

Microsoft's entry in the browser field is called Internet Explorer and comes bundled with Windows. There are several other browsers which use the Internet Explorer "engine" but add features and a different appearance (e.g. Crazy Browser, Slim Browser, Avance Browser). Most of the following tutorial applies equally to them, but you will have to consult their help files for assistance with the additional features:
