Gain from others experience

Digital photography has "taken off". More digital cameras are sold than those designed for conventional film. Hand in hand with those digital cameras go computers. Even though you can use a digital camera and take your memory card to a photo processor as if it was a film, most users download the contents of the camera's memory to their computer and select what they want to print. Before printing, they can crop, correct and otherwise enhance their photos, printing only the very best. This can be a great money saver because you don't print the photos that didn't turn out right.

But digital photography is photography nonetheless and there are lessons to be learned, not only about the special benefits of taking photos digitally, but also about photography itself. Our hints don't pretend to be anything more than that - a few hints to help you on your way. Read the camera manual, do a search for digital photography tutorials and set yourself a goal of improving your photos with every photographic session. You will be surprised how much better your photos can become.
